Srinagar, Sep 13 (KNS): PDP leader and Budgam MLA Aga Muntazir on Sunday described as an "honour" his meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, during which he presented his BRICS research and lauded the people of Iran for their "extraordinary resilience" in the face of "aggression and pressure."
In a statement here, MLA Muntazir said he accompanied Kashmir's chief cleric Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, along with clerics Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al Safavi and Imran Reza Ansari, to call on the Iranian foreign minister.
"The people of Iran have shown extraordinary resilience in the face of aggression and pressure, proving once again that there is no place for bullying," the MLA said.

MLA Muntazir said he also had the opportunity to present his BRICS research to Araghchi, sharing perspectives on the "emerging global order" and the potential of the grouping to strengthen multilateralism, cooperation and a "more balanced international system."
"At a time of profound global uncertainty, we must work towards a world where dialogue prevails over force, and international law over the law of the powerful," he said. (KNS)
